Why Sunrise Ecologic?

We have a track record of working with community members to help them navigate  state and federal funding, permitting, and project management at the local level with our expertise in grant writing, salt marsh/tidal/fish passage restoration, culvert replacement, dam removal, and community resilience planning.

We understand the federal and state funding process and are available to help municipalities and regional organizations who are over capacity to write and manage grants, engage with the community, and manage technical projects, permitting, and construction oversight.

Connection is the Foundation of the Ecosystem.

“I work at the intersection of ecological restoration and economic democracy. Our restoration and resilience projects include consideration of local economic implications and I believe that through effective communication and cooperation common ground may be found to support thriving natural and business ecosystems.” Shri Verrill, Founder & Principal
